9. A Pakistani national with ties to China was indicted this week for allegedly attempting to commit an act of terrorism across national boundaries and a murder-for-hire plan targeting former President Donald Trump and other American officials.
10. The FBI was able to catch the alleged assassin after he went to New York and contacted someone he thought would help him kill Trump, but that person reported the plot to law enforcement and became a confidential source for the FBI.
