6. President Trump also called a day earlier for Hamas to free every hostage by 12 noon on Saturday or “let hell break loose” and he also said he would leave the final decision to Israel, giving them the ability to do what they thought best to do.
7. Discussing DOGE team findings in several federal agencies, Elon Musk noted that there are quite a few people in the bureaucracy at USAID who have a salary of a few hundred thousand dollars but somehow managed to accrue tens of millions of dollars in net worth while they worked there.
8. Mr. Musk asked: if we have rule of the bureaucrats – if the bureaucracy is in charge – then what meaning does democracy actually have? He noted that we need an autonomous federal bureaucracy, not a responsive bureaucracy.
