The most recent cover of TIME Magazine features a photo of Russian President Vladimir Putin on its front cover, alongside the caption:
“America’s weak and waffling. Russia’s rich and resurgent – and its leader doesn’t care what anybody thinks of him: THE WORLD ACCORDING TO VLADIMIR PUTIN”
This cover is only being published in TIME’s international editions, though. Here in the United States, a football player replaces Putin on the cover. The story is about compensating college athletes. The headline: “It’s Time to Pay College Athletes.”
“The World According to Vladimir Putin” and the story with it are highly praiseworthy and complimentary of Putin and how he is running the world.

What do you think: is Time Magazine displaying any type of bias for featuring a cover story around the world complimenting Russian President Vladimir Putin, while not running the story in the U.S. edition?
