After being caught by a blogger, Reuters on Sunday was forced to admit it had distributed a doctored photo (very obviously so), of the results of an Israeli strike on a Beirut suburb, taken by freelance photographer Adnan Hajj who the London-based news service dropped in the wake of the embarrassing revelation. Then on Monday, Reuters conceded at least one more picture had been manipulated by Hajj — to show three missiles, instead of the actual one flare, from an Israeli jet — and the news service removed all 920 photos from Hajj in its photo database… read more here
