Super Tuesday

Question(s)
Bernie Sanders appeared to be a sure thing going into Super Tuesday as Joe Biden’s campaign appeared no longer viable despite his win in South Carolina. In a shocking victory, Biden wound up winning 10 of the 14 Super Tuesday states.
- Some Bernie Sanders’ supporters think the DNC manipulated things to get Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg to drop out before Super Tuesday so Biden would get their votes and revive his campaign.
- Other observers say the majority of Democrats do not want a socialist candidate for president and therefore went for Biden.
- Others think Bernie has no chance of beating Trump, but Biden does. Democratic voters chose Biden even though he appears confused at times, because they think he can beat Trump. Voters just want a Democrat in the White House. Once in, Biden’s vice president can take over when he is no longer capable of being the president.
What do you think happened? (How did Super Tuesday look like a slam dunk for Bernie, but turn out big for Biden?)
