ADDRESSING TRADE IMBALANCES: President Trump is working to level the playing field for American businesses and workers by confronting the unfair tariff disparities and non-tariff barriers imposed by other countries.
THE GOLDEN RULE FOR OUR GOLDEN AGE: Today’s action simply asks other countries to treat us like we treat them. It’s the Golden Rule for Our Golden Age.

7. There is a lot of criticism and concern in the media about President Trump's tariffs. It is important for you to understand the issue for yourself and come to your own conclusion. Talk to a parent about their view on tariffs.
Media opposed to the Trump tariffs generally include: CNN, CNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, The New York Times, the Associated Press at many regional news stations and newspapers, Reuters, BBC, Newsweek... plus, most/all Democrats in Congress.
Media that support the tariffs include some on Newsmax, Fox News, conservative radio talk show hosts... plus, Republicans in Congress except for Sen. Mitch McConnell and a few others.
