NOTE: The CALM Act, passed December 15, 2010, gave the FCC until December 15, 2011 to create and adopt rules by which the CALM Act will be enforced. One year following the adoption of rules [they were adopted December 13, 2011], TV broadcasters, including all standard, cable and satellite broadcasters, will be required to be in compliance with the regulations.
