The Trinitarios gang members arrested include US citizens (USC), lawful permanent residents (LPR) and EWIs (Entry Without Inspection - this is an immigration status that refers to entering the US without being formally admitted by an immigration officer. It's considered illegal and a serious breach of U.S. immigration laws.
A Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) can have their status revoked and also be deported if they are convicted of a crime including fraud, theft, and violence, murder, drug trafficking, rape and others. This can happen regardless of how long they've been in the U.S. or if they have family members who are U.S. citizens.
