“Israel just did what the US has not been able to do in 41 years.”
Watch a September 23rd explanation from Greta Van Susteren below:

In 2023, the U.S. State Department offered a reward of up to $7 million for information leading to the identification, location, arrest, and/or conviction of Hezbollah key leader Ibrahim Aqil.

  • Ibrahim Aqil, also known as Tahsin, served on Hezbollah’s highest military body, the Jihad Council.
  • During the 1980s, Aqil was a leader of Hezbollah’s terrorist cell the Islamic Jihad Organization, which claimed responsibility for the bombings of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut in April 1983, which killed 63 people, and the U.S. Marine Corps barracks in October 1983, which killed 241 U.S. personnel.
  • Also in the 1980s, Aqil directed the taking of American and German hostages in Lebanon and held them there.

In more recent years, Aqil led Hezbollah’s Operations Unit, was part of the triumvirate that led the Jihad Council, and, together with Talal Hamiyah, commanded the Islamic Jihad Organization, the Hezbollah branch in charge of international terrorist activity.
