“Pay What You Want!”
The fare amount charged by Recession Ride Taxi in Essex, Vermont for any trip. Eric Hagen, who came up with the idea, says he hasn’t been shortchanged. Most of his transactions are in cash, but he’s been paid with a $10 supermarket card, and a musician once gave him a CD.
