“We saw right away that the zebra is fake, but we are here for fun, so it doesn’t really matter.”
–a mother at a Chinese park where a Shetland pony is billed as a zebra. Park officials had black stripes painted on the white Shetland pony for kids to ride and pose with for photographs.  When asked if the zebra is real, a park employee answered: “It’s from Africa. What do you call it, if it’s not a zebra?” Parents were unconcerned.
