“I love great detail where you can see hair, every eye, jaw or sting – these are not visible by naked eye. I like the variability of insects – you can see some insects with rainbow eyes and others with long hair. Every insect looks like a creation from other planet yet on the other hand is beautiful and cute in its own way.”
Slovakian student Dusan Beno, who captures detailed macro portraits of insects and spiders. He catches his subjects in the great outdoors and then “bug-naps” them by taking them back to his home for photo-shoots.
