Former President Donald Trump worked the fryer, and then the drive-thru at a Philadelphia-area McDonald’s on Sunday after he questioned Democratic presidential opponent Vice President Kamala Harris’ accounts of her experience working at the fast food restaurant.
(Harris has said she worked the cash register, as well as the ice cream machine and fryer at the restaurant, but few additional details have been released, including when her employment ended, according to Newsweek.
McDonald’s said it couldn’t necessarily confirm Vice President Kamala Harris ever took a job at one of its restaurants — but added it was “proud to hear” she had “fond memories” of working there as a teen.
The fast-food giant on Sunday extended an invite to Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, to visit one of its restaurants “in order to share how McDonald’s provides meaningful pathways to economic opportunity and feeds and fosters local communities.”)
