Human, All Too Human
The Pew Research Center for People and the Press has a new survey out asking Americans their “top priorities for 2010.” The economy, jobs and terrorism rank first. At the very bottom: “global warming.”
Little wonder, given that so much of the science behind global warmism has been shown to be corrupt or bogus. London’s Daily Telegraph reports on one leading global warmist’s explanation:
Climate scientists are “only humans” who can make mistakes like everyone else, the deputy leader of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has said.
Of course, the same can be said of Bernie Madoff, to select another human completely at random. But the protest “we’re only human” rather undermines the appeal to authority on which global warmism is based, does it not?
