Example of Media Bias:

The most recent cover of TIME Magazine features a photo of Russian President Vladimir Putin on its front cover, alongside the caption:

“America’s weak and waffling. Russia’s rich and resurgent – and its leader doesn’t care what anybody thinks of him:  THE WORLD ACCORDING TO VLADIMIR PUTIN”

This cover is only being published in TIME’s international editions, though. Here in the United States, a football player replaces Putin on the cover. The story is about compensating college athletes. The headline: “It’s Time to Pay College Athletes.”

The World According to Vladimir Putin” and the story with it are highly praiseworthy and complimentary of Putin and how he is running the world.
