Obama Does the Impossible
We guess whoever wrote this CBS News “Issues 2012: In Depth” piece is too young to remember “Schoolhouse Rock“:
While new polls show Romney gaining ground among likely voters in key swing states, though, national polls of registered voters indicate at this point that an Obama reelection is more likely. The good news, [Republican congressional staffer Mike] Lofgren said, is even without cooperation from Congress, the president has accomplished “a fair amount, considering. Health care and the stimulus–those were big deals.”
An older reporter would have thought to ask Lofgren how Obama managed to enact legislation without cooperation from Congress.
