102-Year-Old Woman Still Drives Her 82-Year-Old Car
102-year-old Margaret Dunning from Plymouth, Michigan first began driving around her family’s farm at the age of 8. Today Margaret drives an 82-year-old 1930 Packard 740 Roadster which she has owned since 1949. Margaret has a passion for her classic vehicle–she performs routine maintenance herself and takes the Roadster to car shows. Margaret also owns a 1966 Cadillac DeVille, a 1975 Cadillac Eldorado convertible, a 1931 Model A as well as an everyday car, a 2003 Cadillac DeVille.

A 6-foot-tall cardboard figure of a police officer, named Constable Bobb, was put on display in a store in Stainsbury, England, to deter shoplifters. Somebody stole it.
Bitten but unbeaten
Rather than memorize a description or take a picture, a hiker in Western Massachusetts tracked down and captured the snake that had just bitten him in a state park on Sept. 15. The unidentified hiker was walking through Mt. Tom State Reservation when a venomous copperhead snake struck him. Refusing to panic, the hiker managed to capture the snake alive and marched down the mountain to find help. A police spokesman said that by bringing the snake in for identification, the hiker helped hospital staff—and therefore himself—by allowing them to administer the correct antivenom quickly.

The woman called the company to report the oh-so-obvious mistake. But ditzy Bouygues Telecom reps initially refused to admit the company had erred and instead offered to put her on a payment plan — until the story broke in the media and the charge was canceled.
